Recreational Boat & PWC License
Boat and pWC training
Our courses combine practical, hands-on experience with essential boating safety knowledge, helping participants develop the skills required to safely operate a recreational boat or jet ski. Boat training is generally run concurrently with PWC training unless specified as a Boat Only course.
Under Tasmanian legislation, participants must hold a current Recreational Boat Licence before obtaining a PWC endorsement. Training and endorsement can be completed during the same course.

What to expect
The training program is delivered in line with the Tasmanian Safe Boating Handbook and includes both theory and practical components. Participants will complete an online learning course with multiple-choice assessment, along with an on-water practical training session.
Whether you’re new to boating or have never operated a PWC before, the course is designed to provide the knowledge needed to safely enjoy your craft.
