Carlton Park have confirmed themselves as the maestros of the Masters after taking out their fifth straight state title at Ulverstone SLSC on Saturday.
The win was all the more sweet for the club as it is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025.
The champions ended up dominating the pointscore, amassing more than the second and third-placed clubs combined tallies.
Carlton Park were driven to victory on the back of winning half of the events on offer, claiming 38 out of 76 golds.
The charge was led by Jayde Richardson and Anna Sargent who each went home with nine wins, while Michael Moschogianis took home another eight.
Club stalwart Don Marsh and Jamie Stubbs also picked up six wins apiece for Carlton Park.
Joining Richardson and Sargent with nine wins was Warwick Lovell who contributed more than half of Clifton Beach’s 16 gold medals.
Other big winners at Ulverstone were Burnie’s Annette Lakeland with six victories Lovell’s clubmate Craig Fullarton with five.
Stephen Blizzard’s five wins almost single-handedly delivered Bridport fifth place on the overall standings, contributing 30 of his club’s 34 points.
Home club Ulverstone proved consistency is the key to high overall standings, winning just eight events but took another 26 podiums to finish second ahead of Clifton Beach.
