Surf Life Saving Tasmania is proud to announce the team which has been selected to represent Tasmania at the SLSA Pathways Interstate Championships at North Kirra, Queensland on 1 April.
The team comprises four male and four females from each of the Under 14 and Under 15 age categories.
Incredibly, nine Tasmanian surf clubs are represented across the 16-strong team which will be guided by State Team Coach Courtney Beswick and Team Manager Liz Eustace.
The team features some experienced campaigners with five members of the team having competed at the Interstates last year: Maya Allen (Bicheno), Kahawai Benson (Clifton Beach), Ellie Rayner (Burnie), Ryan Stolp (Carlton Park) and Anderson Towns (Penguin).
“Congratulations to everyone who has been selected to compete at the Interstates in April,” said Beswick. “Representing your state is something which is extremely special and for many of the team it is the first time they have had that honour.
“Everyone is really looking forward to getting to up to Queensland in April and doing Tasmania proud.”
