There are many ways in which you can get involved in Surf Life Saving and many things you can do once you become a member. Surf Life Saving has opportunities for people to be an active patrol member saving lives on the beach, an age manager for Nippers on the weekend or as a volunteer club official working behind the scenes to ensure things run smoothly.

Once you have your bronze medallion there are a range of further qualifications/skills you can gain
As well as doing a lot of great things on the beach, as a member you also have opportunities to give back to community working in schools and also protentional paid opportunities
There are some many way you can take all of your learnt skills and help others to gain those skills
As a member you can take your skills further offshore and help a wider range of people
The surf lifesaving community goes way beyond your beach and your club. As a member there opportunities to travel and work overseas
