Life membership

Life Membership is the highest honour awarded by Surf Life Saving Tasmania, recognising exceptional and sustained service at a State level over an extended period.

  • Life membership is awarded to members who have rendered distinguished voluntary service to Surf Life Saving Tasmania at State level for over a period of at least 20 years. To be considered as distinguished service, the service must be both sustained and provide a conspicuous contribution.

Hall of Fame

The SLST Hall of Fame permanently displays, commemorates and recognises members and teams who have achieved outstanding accomplishments and exceptional contributions to the development of surf lifesaving at both the State and National level.

The award is allocated in recognition of outstanding contribution made to the various facets of the Movement including Lifesaving, Administration and Sport.
