Insurance
Overview
Surf Life Saving Tasmania (SLST) is part of the Surf Life Saving Australia National Insurance Program, which provides a range of insurance protections for members, clubs and volunteers.
This program supports members and clubs in managing risks associated with Surf Life Saving activities. However, it is important to understand that insurance cover is limited and subject to policy terms, conditions and exclusions.
What cover is available?
The National Insurance Program includes three core types of cover:
-

-
Helps provide protection to clubs against the financial risk of being found liable for:
Injury to another person
Damage to property
This cover applies to sanctioned Surf Life Saving activities and events in Australia.
-
