Overview

Grant funding plays an important role in supporting clubs and units to deliver services, improve facilities and invest in their people.

The Surf Life Saving Grant Seeking Unit (GSU) provides expert support to help identify and secure grant funding.

The Grant Seeking Unit aims to maximise Surf Life Saving’s access to private and Government grant funding across Australia.

Supporting volunteers and clubs

The GSU was established in 2009 to provide practical, grassroots support to help navigate an increasingly competitive grant funding environment. By working with the GSU, clubs and units can:

  • Improve the quality of applications

  • Save time and effort

  • Increase the likelihood of funding success
