Surf Life Saving Australia’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO), the Australian Lifesaving Academy (ALA) is providing an Articulated Credit Pathway to the Unit of Competency PUASAR001 - Perform land based swiftwater and floodwater rescue and recovery (PUASAR001). The Articulated Credit Pathway recognises the outcomes of the SLSA Flood Rescue Responder (FRR) course as equivalent to the competencies of the Unit of Competency PUASAR001.
Articulated Credit means the granting of credit for the learning outcomes of one course to the learning outcomes of another via an administrative exercise. In this instance the credit is from the Surf Life Saving Flood Rescue Responders course to the Unit of Competency PUASAR001 - Perform land based swiftwater and floodwater rescue.
Students interested in gaining PUASAR001 will be enrolled with the ALA, as the Registered Training Organisation issuing the certification.
