Surf Life Saving in Tasmania is a volunteer based not-for-profit community service association.  The State Council (Presidents of our surf life saving clubs) remains as the peak authority of the organisation.  However they have entrusted the day to day operations of Surf Life Saving Tasmania to a Board of Directors who have a mandate from clubs to continue to develop the organisation’s strategic framework with support from operational committees chaired by State Officers for Lifesaving, Member Services and Surf Sports.
