Surf Life Saving in Tasmania is a volunteer based not-for-profit community service association.
The State Council (Presidents of our surf life saving clubs and volunteer marine rescue units) remains as the peak authority of the organisation. However they have entrusted the day to day operations of Surf Life Saving Tasmania to a Board of Directors who have a mandate from our affiliates to continue to develop the organisation’s strategic framework with support from operational committees which include the SLST Operations Executive and Lifesaving, Development, Rescue Services and Surf Sports Advisory Committees.
