Water Safety Coordinator (Short-term Contract)

SLST is seeking a casual employee to undertake the role of Water Safety Coordinator for an international TV production.  The unique role requires undertaking risk assessments, event coordination and supporting the development and training of locals to provide water safety.   

This role involves establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders in order to support the provision of water safety for an international TV production.

Casual Trainers

SLST is looking for experienced Casual Trainers to deliver  training courses to a wide range of client groups across Tasmania.
SLST delivers a selection of short courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety, these include:

  • Provide First Aid / Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
  • Tasmanian Recreational Motor Boat and PWC Licence

The role is responsible for the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training with professionalism, ensuring that the delivery of the training reflects dedication to SLST’s brand, core values and mission.

Surf Life Saving Tasmania (SLST) delivers Community Programs to schools and community groups in Tasmania. 

  • Water safety programs involve teaching aquatic skills, catching waves and practicing rescues.
  • Beach safety sessions on-land and in classrooms.
