Member Training and Support Officer

This part time role involves supporting the delivery of Surf Life Saving Tasmania’s member training services and programs to ensure members have the skills needed to perform their roles, as capable and rescue ready lifesavers.

  • The position is part-time, with the flexibility to work 38hrs per fortnight.
  • An option for full-time equivalent employment is available, subject to the applicants other experience and training qualifications.

Casual Trainers

SLST is looking for experienced Casual Trainers to deliver  training courses to a wide range of client groups across Tasmania.
SLST delivers a selection of short courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety, these include:

  • Provide First Aid
  • Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
  • Tasmanian Recreational Motor Boat and PWC Licence

The role is responsible for the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training with professionalism, ensuring that the delivery of the training reflects dedication to SLST’s brand, core values and mission.
