Coordinator - Surf Sports 

Surf Life Saving Tasmania (SLST) is seeking an enthusiastic, organised coordinator to drive the development of surf sports programs and initiatives across the state. Working with clubs, committees, and partners, the role focuses on building capability, participation, and inclusion for members at all levels – from grassroots to elite – including coaches, officials, and athletes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate surf sports development programs, and initiatives.
  • Support volunteer coaches, officials, and athletes to build skills and participation pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of 'rescue ready livesavers' through the development of surf sports

Casual Trainers

SLST is looking for experienced Casual Trainers to deliver  training courses to a wide range of client groups across Tasmania.
SLST delivers a selection of short courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety, these include:

  • Provide First Aid / Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
  • Tasmanian Recreational Motor Boat and PWC Licence

The role is responsible for the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training with professionalism, ensuring that the delivery of the training reflects dedication to SLST’s brand, core values and mission.
