Coordinator - Community Programs (part-time)

Are you passionate about water safety and community engagement? Surf Life Saving Tasmania (SLST) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team to develop and lead impactful community programs aligned with our strategic goals as Tasmania's peak water safety organisation.    This role will involve engaging diverse stakeholders, coordinating program delivery and managing casual staff. This part-time role offers flexible working arrangements for 38hrs per fortnight.

Community Programs Instructor Position Description


Lifeguards (Casual)

SLST delivers Lifeguard Services to schools, sporting groups and community organisations to provide aquatic safety while under going beach activities.
In addition, Surf Life Saving Tasmania provides a daily Lifeguard Service at Clifton Beach on weekdays throughout the Tasmanian summer school holidays.

Position Description - Administration Officer Training & Lifesaving

 

Casual Trainers

SLST is looking for experienced Casual Trainers to deliver  training courses to a wide range of client groups across Tasmania.
SLST delivers a selection of short courses focusing predominantly on first aid, emergency response and water safety, these include:

  • Provide First Aid / Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Community Surf Life Saving Certificate
  • Tasmanian Recreational Motor Boat and PWC Licence

The role is responsible for the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training with professionalism, ensuring that the delivery of the training reflects dedication to SLST’s brand, core values and mission.
