Unlimited access to physical surroundings is a contributing factor to injury and drowning. Many people are aware that there are risks present at beaches throughout Tasmania however these risks vary greatly from location to location. As Surf Lifesavers, we can’t be everywhere all of the time. It is important that we know and understand where the risks are in our environment and provide warnings and restrict access where appropriate.
