Amongst the many services provided to the Tasmanian community, SLST provides international support through training, advice and assistance.

Over the past several years SLST has delivered training and programs in;

• Fiji
• India
• South Africa
• Samoa
• Taiwan

Currently SLST has volunteer surf lifesavers deliverying programs in Samoa to rebuild confidence and provide lifesaving skills to villages affected by the 2009 tsunami in Samoa. 

This program would not have been possible without the support of the recent High Commissioner in Samoa Matt Anderson, Judge Vaepule Vaai, AusAid, Arnold Shott and many other supporters.
