Coaches

Surf Life Saving Tasmania acknowledges the efforts of our coaches in the development of athletes.  The success of Tasmanian athletes can be attributed to the commitment and hard work of coaches and athletes alike. 

Surf Life Saving Tasmania aims to provide ongoing development for coaches through the Coaching and Skills Development Clinics by providing well structured coach education programs.  These clinics provide opportunities for coaches to gain knowledge and skills from some of Australias finest coaches.

Recently Rick Duncan conducted successful ski coaching and skills clinics as part of our surf sports development programs which aims to increase the skills and knowledge of both athletes and coaches.  Rick is actively involved with the Western Australian high performance program and as a level 3 ski coach he also runs programs to develop ski paddling in country Western Australia.  Rick has agreed to share training sessions used in this program.  Thank you on behalf of Surf Life Saving Tasmania to Rick for sharing this information.

Coach accreditation and re-license forms
