Carlton Park Surf Life Saving Club was formed in 1975 with the merger of Park Beach and Hobart-Carlton Surf LIfe Saving Clubs.

Located at beautiful Carlton Beach, in the South East of Tasmania, CPSLSC is a family friendly club that endeavours to provide an important service in its local community and in the wider Frederick Henery Bay area. It's the club of choice for young and old who want to learn new skills, make a difference, participate in competition and make new friends.

We are a non for profit organisation formed for the purpose of promoting and providing surf life saving services, skills and advice to the general public. The Club is affiliated with and bound by the Constitution and By-Laws of Surf Life Saving Tasmania and Surf Life Saving Australia.

The Club provides surf life saving services to the general Frederick Henry Bay and surrounding beach areas during the period of 1 December to 31^st March each year. Over this period, regular surf patrols are performed by our volunteer membership each Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday between the hours of 11am - 4.30pm. For season 2008-09 a total of ............ hours of volunteer patrol services / water safety was performed by our members; ..... rescues and ....... preventative actions

We are a family-friendly club with many of our senior members also having children in the junior and cadet age groups. There is a strong focus on supporting and encouraging our younger members whilst providing a range of activites, training group and competition for those that wish to extend themselves further.

There is something for everyone to get involved with at Carlton Park. Whether you are an active patrolling senior member of the Club, a non patrolling award member, a volunteer in our Canteen or around the Club, or a nipper member of our U8 age group.
